May Update

Here's our update for the rest of May! Then I'll have to post a whole bunch more from June.....I'm so far behind. Well, the first pic is of our little outing with the Burrows and Christensen's to the Logan Zoo. The kids had a blast, and Ephraim could have chased the ducks all day long.....he almost caught one in fact.

We took the kids up the canyon for the first roasting trip of the summer. The kids spent most of the time throwing rocks in the water and Patrick avoided the fire most of the time....he's a little bit chicken. They enjoyed the hotdogs and smores though and have been begging to do it again since!

 We also went on our first hike of the summer season, trying out a new trail just above Mendon. We didn't make it far up the trail however, before deciding to turn back. Seeing two rattlesnakes has a way of ruining a good hiking trail.

Bela ballerina had her first big dance recital on the 19th of May. Both Grandmas came to cheer her on and she did awesome up on stage! We're taking a break from dance this summer but will be at it again this fall.

On Memorial day we met Jordan, Jeni, and Alex for a hike up Timpanogos. LJ and I have talked about going up for a couple of years and he's never seen the cave. It was fun to finally do it (even being pregnant!) 

Patrick died on the way down....he was sooo tired!

Before heading home from Timp, we drove to Benjamin to see Great Grandpa Thomsen's headstone and to put some pretty purple pansies out. We then stopped to see Grandma T for a minute, and swung by Krispie Kreme for some hot doughnuts....can you guess who got home super late?
