Bela had her first mini-dance performance today! Her class was invited to dance at the Relay for Life in Smithfield this afternoon. They were just getting lined up to dance when a huge storm blew through. The DJ decided we better wait for the storm so we all ran and huddled under some tents for 30 min or so. Finally the storm blew over and the sun came out! By then, however, the other little girls in Bela's class had given up and left and she was left all alone! Their were some older girls who knew her first dance and did it with her, and then she was brave enough to do the second one all on her own! (Which was super impressive because there were quite a few people watching and she wasn't scared at all!) Good job Bela girl! Then the older gals did a little number with maracas and Bela hopped in the back and improved away. The videos were too big to load so I will have to email them to the grandparents.
