Welcome to our latest update!

With crumby weather keeping us inside, we've been doing a lot of window watching for Spring. Patrick's new favorite trick is to climb the couch and shake the blinds til I open them wide. Then Bela joins him to pound on the windows and dream of warm weather.

We've also been doing some "Spring Cleaning", and I've got two handy little helpers who aided me in washing out the window tracks the other day.

The sun decided to show it's hiding face last week! It was still pretty chilly out, with fresh morning snow still on the ground, but we had to soak up some rays. So out we went with a bag of snacks and watched Bela ride her bike and throw rocks for a bit.

I think Patrick is starving. I FEED this kid food all day long. I swear, he EATS constantly! Well, I had pulled a bag of gold fishes out and set them on the counter, getting distracted with something else. When I turned back around, the bag and Patrick were missing. I thought to myself "I'm positive I set the bag right here like 30 sec ago?" and looked for a minute around the kitchen before following the sounds of thumping crawling upstairs. Hmm, Patrick had been here 30 sec ago too . . . how did he get upstairs so fast?? So up I went and I found this. I think he was taking them to stash them in the cupboard for later and then just decided to eat them anyway.

That, and the last couple of days . . . he's started to walk! The little stinker finally realized he can do it! Now the trouble really begins . . .

I decided to finally finish Bela's other shoe. They turned out cute but I don't think they'll fit her long feet for much longer. She loves them though and hasn't taken them off all day.

This is proof I feed the little monster! He ate almost two adult servings of Lasagna tonight! Now that's a happy face!

  1. I had to giggle when I read about your window watching. We have done a lot of that lately too. And dreaming. :) The nice weather is coming, but when???? And....you have a walker. Yup...now it all begins. But their so worth it! Also, I am crossing my fingers for some little girls, or at least 1. Are you going to make more shoes to sell? You totally should. If I actually get a girl, I would definitely buy a pair (or 2) from ya. Whatcha think? Anyways, hope your doing well.
