Happy Birthday LJ!!! This first pic is of LJ's birthday! He really would like to go to Brazil for the Olympics in 2016 so I figured it was time to start saving. The paper airplane in the pic is also his gift . . . sort of. He's wanted to get his remote control airplane back up and running for some time but we also found some good kit deals online a while back. So he gets to pick out a new plane! Kind of a lame Birthday but he'll have a super fun party this weekend at Gramee's and hopefully that will make up for it!

The next pics are from the last couple of days and the picture of Bela's little pink shoe is from tonight. I've just been so worn out lately, and so frustrated with that terrible two year old. Tonight I was rocking Patrick to sleep on the couch, thinking about all the craziness of the last few days and of Bela's little attitude when I happened to be drawn to that shoe at the bottom of the stairs. What would I do without the busy little toes that occupy it during the day? What would I do without her tornado trail through the front room and her sticky kisses on the forehead? What would I do without that messy mullet blonde with her split crooked smile? Or the "good night" in portuguese and the singing at the top of her lungs every time Patrick closes his eyes? I'm pretty sure Heavenly Father left that shoe there for me tonight so I could stop being caught up in all of life's trivial things! Patrick and her are changing so fast. You never believe adults when they tell you as a kid that time flies . . . . well, I believe it now.
